Submissions

Miraworth Books is open for submissions.

We publish fiction for middle grade, young adult and adult readers, with a particular focus on sweet and clean fiction across genres.

We welcome submissions from authors who meet the following guidelines:

• We are currently accepting fiction only. We are not considering non-fiction titles.

• We are not considering poetry, screenplays or play scripts, activity books, poster books, low-content books, individual short stories, or high-heat/open-door steamy or spicy fiction.

• Submissions are currently open to Australian citizens and residents only. We are especially interested in hearing from South Australian authors.

• Please submit only one manuscript at a time.

• We have no minimum or maximum word count. Our focus is on the quality of the story and whether the length suits the work being submitted.

• Miraworth Books is AI-positive. Authors are welcome to use AI tools as part of their writing, editing or creative process, but must disclose the nature and extent of that use when submitting. If a manuscript is accepted for publication, this disclosure will form part of our publishing records.

• Manuscripts generated wholly by AI without meaningful human creative contribution will not be accepted.

• Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we are unable to provide individual editorial assessments or detailed feedback on manuscripts we do not accept.

We look forward to considering your work.
